Student Post Graduate Plan
Niagara National Inc. has a filed and approved Post Graduate Health Insurance Plan to be offered in New York State. Details of the coverage of this plan may be found in our Post Graduate Plan brochure. Enrollment can be designed to coincide with the expiration of the current student insurance plan. The plan is available to graduates of any New York College or University who no longer meet the requirements of the student insurance plan and are not eligible for other health insurance coverage. Coverage is afforded for a period not to exceed eighteen consecutive months after graduation.
Please Note: You must have been enrolled in your College or University Student Health Insurance Plan in the year prior to starting the Continuation coverage. If you don't meet this qualification, please call us at (800) 444-5530. Other options are available.
If you are residing outside of New York State after graduation, you may want to consider the Assurant Health Short Term Medical Plans. Click the short term medical link to the left for more information (not available in certain states, including New York and Massachusetts).
